Marcelo Brozovic has now agreed terms for a new deal at Inter and an announcement is expected soon.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that the agreement has now been reached. The base amount that he will earn is 6 million per season and on the basis of certain bonuses, he will earn close to โฌ7 million per season.
The announcement is expected to be made after the Supercoppa Italiana or after Interโs game against Atalanta. Brozovic had initially asked for โฌ8 million per season. No other clubs interested Brozovic and even though Newcastle United were willing to offer โฌ8 million, Brozovic wasnโt interested in the club. It was always Inter for him and no other club, unless another club matched his ambition.
It took a while for Inter to come up with the offer but over time, they have realised the Croatianโs importance to the side.
