Charles De Ketelaere sacrifices his salary to stimulate talks between Milan and Club Brugge

Charles De Ketelaere has reportedly given up a part of his salary in order to help Milan progress talks with his current club Club Brugge.

According to a report from Gianluca di Marzio, it is unclear whether it is about the salary he has earned during his time with Club Brugge or his upcoming salary with Milan. The move from the Belgian is a symbol to help progress talks between the two clubs and bring them to an agreement soon, rather than delaying the process.

The report further stated that there has been a number of meetings regarding De Ketelaere between Maldini and Massara with Club Brugge. Now, it is certain that the negotiations are one step away from becoming final with Milan waiting for the Belgian outfit’s consent.

The Rossoneri are set to pay around €32 million plus bonuses of €3 million for the player to Club Brugge — per an earlier report from Daniele Longo.
