Chelsea defender set to sign contract with Juventus

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is set to sign a contract with Juventus once his deal with the Blues ends.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Rudiger to Juve is now a done deal. The defender has said ‘yes’ to a move to the Bianconeri, who had made contact for the German in the recent past.

Rudiger will sign a four-year deal with the Old Lady, prefering Juve to Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. He will sign a contract worth €6.5 million per season and he will get the benefits of the Growth Decree regulations.

Juve will spend a total of just under €10 million per season gross for the player and the acceleration they made in the deal over the last few weeks has proved decisive. They did face issues because of the UK government’s sanctions on Chelsea but the deal now seems close.
