Chelsea are now set to sign Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly this summer.
Gianluca di Marzio has now reported that the Senegal international is heading towards Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea now pushing to close the deal.Â
The Blues had initially offered €35 million but Napoli ended up asking for a higher fee. The deal is now set to close for €38 million plus €2 million of bonuses.Â
Personal terms have been agreed between the player and the club. He is expected to sign a five-year deal with Chelsea this summer and he will sign €10 million per season including bonuses. The closure of the move is expected to take place tomorrow.
Koulibaly will not go to the Napoli retreat overnight as it was planned previously and that is a big suggestion of the fact that the move to Chelsea is heading very close. The player was heavily linked with a move to Juventus as well.
