Cristiano Ronaldo refuses to reveal Juventus salary in financial irregularities case

Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo refused to reveal his Juventus salary in the club’s ongoing financial irregularities case.

La Stampa have reported that the Turin prosecutor had requested for the house arrest of Andrea Agnelli and the club is guilty of financial irregularities. But the outlet have also stated that Cristiano Ronaldo had refused to reveal his salary to the Turin prosecutor in the case.

Juve had deferred the salaries of various players back in the 2019/20 season and instead of paying a four-month wage, they had paid them for just one month and have been accused of deferring those wages for the next few years. In this case, the prosecutor had sought the help of Ronaldo, who had moved back to United by then. The Portuguese refused to reveal his salary and refused to help the prosecutor in the case.

It was reported previously that Juventus officials had destroyed several secret documents involving the finances around Ronaldo and they found the audio evidence that the documents did exist at one point.
