Done deal: Aaron Ramsey set to join Rangers from Juventus

Aaron Ramsey’s move from Juventus to Rangers has now gone through and the player is set to join the Ibrox club on deadline day.

Sky Italia have now confirmed that the deal has been agreed and all the paperwork between the parties has been exchanged and the move is now set to go through.

The Welshman will now join the Scottish Champions on an initial loan deal but the Gers have the option to buy the player permanently too. The Bianconeri are set to pay a certain of the player’s salary and Rangers will pay a majority of it.

Ramsey had drawn interest from Burnley and Crystal Palace but he rejected those moves and waited for a move to Newcastle United, who didn’t come forward for him. He had also rejected a move to Wolves on deadline day last summer.
