Fiorentina are interested in Nicolò Fagioli as the departure of Lucas Torreira has seen a void emerging in the middle of the park for La Viola.
According to La Nazione, Fiorentina have identified Juventus’ Nicolò Fagioli as a suitable target ahead of the summer transfer window. The report understands that the representatives of La Viola have already managed to meet Juventus and hold talks over a deal for the youngster.
Juve reportedly value the player and regard him as a future star in Italian football. Therefore, it is understood that if a deal were to happen this summer, it would be a dry loan. If anything, Juventus could fancy including an option of a non-mandatory redemption.
Last season, Fagioli was on loan at Cremonese in Serie B. Having played 33 games in the competition, he not only racked up three goals and seven assists but also led the side to the Serie A promotion.
Cremonese remain interested in extending the layer’s loan stay. But it is believed that Juventus will have the last say on the future of the 21-year-old. The latest report suggests that the player is open to joining Fiorentina this summer.
