Milan to offer players in a deal for Gianluca Scamacca amid Arsenal and PSG links

Milan have been keeping tabs on Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca for a long time. But recent reports of clubs like Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain being interested in him could hasten the Rossoneri to complete a deal this summer.

According to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport, PSG are pushing for the summer transfer of Gianluca Scamacca, but Milan are unwilling to let the French club escape with the deal. A swift change in the plans could see the Rossoneri intensify the transfer pursuit.

It is reported that Sassuolo value the player at €40million, which is considered too high by the Rossoneri. But, with Scamacca penning a contract extension until June 2026 just before the end of the 2021/22 campaign, Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali has managed to protect the player’s matter value. Milan’s request for lowering the fee is thus falling on deaf ears.

Arsenal are also interested in making a summer swoop for the marksman. Amid all interest from aboard in their transfer target, Milan could take a more sensible route to secure the deal.

They could include players in a potential offer for the 23-year-old this summer. The report believes that youngsters such as Lorenzo Colombo, Daniel Maldini and Marco Nasti are the favourites to make the package that will be offered to the Neroverdi in exchange for Scamacca, who is understood to be closely monitoring all aspects of a potential transfer.
