Serie A side Fiorentina have now reached a verbal agreement to sign Verona’s Antonin Barak this summer.
Barak has previously been linked with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Napoli and West Ham but it seems as if La Viola are close to signing him.
Gianluca di Marzio has claimed that Fiorentina and Verona now have a verbal agreement in place to sign Barak on an initial loan deal, with the Florence-based side having the option to buy him permanently next summer. Under certain conditions, it could become an obligation to buy as well.
A meeting took place between the two clubs today and that is when a verbal agreement was reached. For the permanent transfer, Fiorentina will pay €10 million plus bonuses of €2 million.
The Czech star was very impressive last season, as he scored 11 times and racked up four assists in Serie A, forming a dangerous trio with Giovanni Simeone and Gianluca Caprari.
