Fulham make breakthrough in move for Roma’s Justin Kluivert

Premier League side Fulham have taken a key step towards potentially signing Roma’s Justin Kluivert.

While talks between the Giallorossi and the newly-promoted Premier League side have taken place recently, no agreement was found between them for the Dutchman.

Gianluca di Marzio has now reported that the negotiations between Roma and Fulham have now been unlocked and progress is being made in the right direction. If Fulham do sign Kluivert, they would end up signing the ex-Ajax player on a permanent basis this summer.

It has been reported in the last few weeks that personal terms have already been agreed between Kluivert and Fulham.

The Dutchman spent the previous season on loan at Ligue 1 side Nice and he had spent the 2020/21 season on loan at Bundesliga side RB Leipzig. Things have not worked out for him at Roma, as he could score only nine times in 68 apppearances in all competitions for the club.
