Bologna’s Aaron Hickey expected to play last home game amidst Arsenal interest

Bologna’s Aaron Hickey is expected to play his last home game for Bologna in the Serie A clash against Sassuolo.

Corriere dello Sport have reported about Hickey today, amidst the Scotsman’s links with a move to Arsenal and Napoli. The outlet claims that Bologna’s home game against Sassuolo is expected to be Hickey’s last home game at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

The teenager started at left wing-back against the neroverdi, with the report claiming that the defender is very popular amongst Premier League clubs and particularly at Arsenal. It is much more than likely that the ex-Hearts and Celtic youngster leaves this summer and Napoli have been mentioned as an interested candidate too.

The defender has also been linked with a move to Milan in recent months.The 19-year-old has scored five goals for the rossoblu this season, getting one assist. He arrived at the club back in the summer of 2020.
