Icardi to meet PSG next week amidst Juventus interest

Paris Saint-Germain striker Mauro Icardi is set to meet with the club officials next week, amidst interest from Juventus.

Giovanni Albanese has reported that Juve’s deal for Icardi can be done on one occassion – if the Bianconeri insert an option to buy for €35 million in an initial loan deal to match the deal they had in place for Alvaro Morata. If the Spaniard leaves this January, Juve would definitely sign a striker and they’d need someone who is Serie A proven. That is why they’re back after Icardi.

The Argentine will have a meeting with PSG’s officials in the middle of next week to clarify his position at the club and Max Allegri will be very happy to have him in the squad.

Financially, it would be a financially viable move, especially since Juve would do it after letting Morata’s loan end.
