Inter one step away from re-signing Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku

Inter are now one step away from re-signing Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku this summer.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Inter are ready to close the gap that existed between the two clubs for a loan deal involving the striker. Chelsea sent their conditions for the deal to the Nerazzurri today and they stated that they would like 10 million plus bonuses on the basis of the team’s trophy wins, which isn’t guaranteed.

Inter had previously offered €5 million plus bonuses, but are now ready to bridge the gap with Chelsea, as the London club’s request is not considered unattainable anymore. There are therefore all the conditions for the return of Lukaku, who can now be considered one step away. Only Steven Zhang’s approval for the move is now pending and once he authorises the move, it will go through.

No players will be included in the deal, despite Chelsea’s links with Denzel Dumfries and Stefan de Vrij.
