Inter set to hand new deal to Simone Inzaghi

Inter are now set to hand a new deal to the club’s manager Simone Inzaghi soon.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that at the end of the current season, Inter have planned to hand a new deal to Inzaghi as the Italian has now already met the two objectives that were set for the season – win the Italian Super Cup and go past the group stages of the UEFA Champions League as well.

Steven Zhang and the other Inter executives do not want to start the next season with there being uncertainty around the future of Inzaghi, whose current deal expires in the summer of 2024 only as he had signed an initial three-year deal.

He currently earns €4.5 million per season in his current deal but that will increase to €5 million per season in the new deal.
