Juventus could take advantage of Donnarumma’s situation at PSG

Juventus could reportedly be ready to take advantage of Gianluigi Donnarumma’s situation at Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported today that in the light of criticism following his error against Real Madrid and talk of a dressing room issue with Neymar, Roberto Mancini called the Italian. While the contents of the call are unknown, it is stated that Mancini is waiting for him to play for Italy later this month.

There is a feeling that something has broken in the relationship between him and PSG and drastic decisions can be made by the French club. Because of that, other clubs can look to sign Donnarumma and Juventus are still at the window for him.

Juve have always kept the channels open for Donnarumma and PSG could look to sell the player for a lesser price than what his current value is, especially if the controversies continue happening.

Furthermore, by virtue of the Growth Decree, the player would be entitled to a 50 percent discount on taxes only starting from the summer of 2023. On the other hand, if the transfer were immediate, his gross salary would cost double.
