Juventus “in pole position” for Atletico Madrid target Nahuel Molina

Juventus are thought to be leading the race for Atletico Madrid target Nahuel Molina.

A report from La Gazzetta dello Sport understands that Juventus are in the pole position to land Udinese right full-back Nahuel Molina in the upcoming summer transfer window.

With his inspiring performances for Udinese this season, Molina has already attracted a plethora of suitors, with reports claiming that Atletico Madrid have been keeping a close eye on the development of the Argentine. But Juventus’ involvement in the deal could prove to be a massive blow to the transfer ambitions of the Spanish club.

The report believes that Juventus are ready to sign Molina from Udinese next summer, with a potential move demanding a transfer fee of around €30million. Apart from bolstering the right-back position, the club also intends to refurbish their left-back options, with the names of Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri making the report.

After enduring an amazing Copa America campaign with Argentina last year, Molina has made 29 appearances across all competitions and racked up seven goals and three assists in the process.
