Juventus are keen about the idea of selling Weston McKennie in the January transfer window.
The Bianconeri’s financial situation means that they would have sell a player in January and the most likely candidate to depart is McKennie.
Marco Conterio has reported that while Max Allegri wants Adrien Rabiot to stay in January, McKennie is someone that Juve would be interested in selling next month. Selling McKennie will make sure that the Bianconeri will earn more money to spent on another player.
But the issue regarding McKennie is that of his wage demands. He currently earns €2.5 million per season, which is double of what he earned at Schalke. To join another club, McKennie wants another big increase in wage and no interested club is looking to hand him that increase.
Juve are ready to let him go and if the American lowers his demands, McKennie could leave the club in the next few days and that will allow the club to work on other strategies.
