Juventus ready to make reduced permanent buy offer to Atletico Madrid for Morata

Juventus are said to be ready to make a reduced permanent buy bid to Atletico Madrid for striker Alvaro Morata.

Daniele Longo has reported that Morata’s decision to sacrifice his starter striker role to play in a different role to help the club accomodate Dusan Vlahovic has impressed Massimiliano Allegri. While he wanted to join Barcelona, he is now willing to stay at Juventus beyond this season.

Juventus now want to sign him permanently and want to set up the initial stage of talks, as they want to do the permanent deal for a reduced fee and not at the €35 million option that Atletico had set.

Federico Cherubini wants to use leverage from two factors, with the first one being that Morata will not be part of Simeone’s plans at Atleti and secondly, he has shown enough desire to continue at Juve. They are ready to make an initial €15 million plus bonuses offer to see how Atletico respond.
