Juventus set to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes

Juventus are now set to seal a move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Leandro Paredes this summer.

The Bianconeri have been looking at the possibility of signing Paredes throughout the summer but they couldn’t go through with a move because of finances.

Gianluca di Marzio has now stated that the move is all but done, with the Argentine set to return to Italy and be a Juventus player – as he wanted to be this summer.

Paredes will head to Juve on an initial loan deal with the option to buy, but it could turn into an obligation to buy depending on certain conditions. Juve will pay €15 million initially for the permanent deal but there will be bonuses on top of it of around €5 million.

The expectation is that Paredes will undergo a medical tomorrow in Paris and then arrive in Turin later tomorrow. Personal terms between the two parties were already in place.
