Memphis Depay will understandably join Juventus after releasing him from the shackles of Barcelona. The former Manchester United star will terminate his contract with Barca in the coming days.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus will consider renouncing some bonuses agreed between Barca and the Italian club while concluding a deal for Miralem Pjanic to smoothen Memphis Depay’s escape from the Catalan giants.
Meanwhile, the Bianconeri management is currently working on finding a total agreement with the striker’s entourage. On Wednesday, Juventus reportedly met with the agent of the former Lyon star.
Although the required approval for the transfer did not arrive, Juve are understood to have some progress in getting the deal over the line. In terms of incomings, the Old Lady has an excellent transfer window this summer, where they have addressed the areas previously lacking reinforcements. The signing of Depay could be the piece of the puzzle for the 36-time Serie A champions.
