Udinese want Arsenal’s Héctor Bellerín to replace Brandon Soppy

Udinese are eyeing a summer transfer for Arsenal star Héctor Bellerín, who could be a replacement for Atalanta-bound Brandon Soppy at the Friulian club.

According to transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Udinese have identified Héctor Bellerín as a potential replacement for Brandon Soppy. However, it would be difficult for the Italian club to win the race for the Spaniard as other clubs have already shown an interest in landing the Arsenal full-back.

Having failed to impress Mikel Arteta, Bellerín, now 27, joined Real Betis on a season-long loan deal last summer. On his return to Spain, he made 32 appearances for Betis, garnering five assists across all competitions.

Nevertheless, with the loan spell coming to an end, Bellerín returned to London earlier this summer. The reports understand that he is now open to making a permanent switch, with Real Betis reportedly emerging as a strong candidate to win the race for the Barcelona-born defender. As things stand, the player has one year left on his current contract at Arsenal.
