Man Utd and West Ham interested in Fabian Ruiz despite PSG advances

Despite Paris Saint-Germain advancing in their move for Napoli’s Fabian Ruiz, Manchester United and West Ham are still interested in the Spaniard.

According to transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, both Manchester United and West Ham United remain interested in signing Fabián Ruiz from Napoli this summer but neither of those two Premier League clubs has reportedly forged the formula to materialise a summer transfer for the Spaniard.

Having sold Georginio Wijnaldum to Roma, PSG are keen on reinforcing their midfield department. As such, Luis Campos has marked Ruiz as a potential target.

It is understood that Campos is a huge admirer of the midfielder, who has decided against extending his contract at Napoli beyond June 2023. Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis wants €30 million for the 26-year-old amid this summer transfer market.

The report understands that the Ligue 1 champions have not started negotiating with their Italian counterparts for the midfielder’s transfer yet.
