Manchester City’s owners City Football Group have now found an agreement to take over at Palermo.

Palermo recently earned promotion to Serie B after they managed to beat Padova in the play-off game earlier this week. The next season will be the club’s first campaign in Serie B since their financial struggles began back in 2019.

SportItalia have now claimed that the club is now set to be taken over by the City Football Group and an agreement has been reached between the current ownershipand CFG. The club will be sold for 10 million plus bonuses of 2 million.

CFG will technically take over 80 percent of the former Serie A side, with Dario Mirri set to remain as the next president as well and he will hold 20 percent of the club’s shares. Francesco Baldini has been eyed as the club’s next manager and Renzo Castagnini expected to remain at the side.
