Manchester United agree fee with Juventus for Adrien Rabiot

Manchester United are said to have agreed a transfer fee with Juventus for the exit of midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

While Rabiot has been linked with a host of clubs recently – including Monaco, it seems as if United are closing in on a move for the midfielder. The Frenchman had rejected Newcastle United earlier this summer.

Manchester Evening News claim that United have agreed a fee with Juve for Rabiot and are now facing the challenge of agreeing terms with the mother-agent of the midfielder. It is stated that this stage of the move could prove to be the sole stumbing block for the transfer.

It is stated that United accepted last week that they need to look at alternatives to Frenkie de Jong and Rabiot is someone that United have kept an eye on since Louis van Gaal was the manager. And the midfielder has always been tempted by the idea of playing in England. United wanted to sign Rabiot for free in 2019, but Juve snapped him up instead.
