Premier League duo Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United and Spanish side Barcelona are keeping a close eye on the situation of Inter’s Marcelo Brozovic and his renewal at the club.
La Repubblica claim that Inter want to build their future around the Croatian and had offered a wage worth €6 million per season on his new deal back in December. They expected him to sign a renewal back in mid-January but it is suggested that the players’ reflections on Barcelona’s interest has caused a delay.
Barca offered €8 million per season on a five-year deal as well. United and Spurs are keeping an eye on the developments of the situation.
Beppe Marotta is still very optimistic about tying up the contract and Brozovic has also assured him in the past that he will want to continue at Inter, who are still hoping to announce the renewal in the next ten days.
Barcelona is a temptation to consider, as things stand. And there is still some suspense at Inter regarding the player’s situation.
