Manchester United’s meeting with Juventus’ Adrien Rabiot yields negative result

Manchester United’s recent meeting with Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot brought about a negative outcome.

The Bianconeri have agreed a fee with United for a move involving Rabiot but personal terms have not been agreed. United did suffer a setback recently, as Rabiot is not convinced about the move.

La Repubblica have now followed up on the information, claiming that a meeting took place between the Red Devils and Rabiot’s entourage today. But the outcome was a negative one largely because there remains a big distance between the two parties.

United are offering €7 million per season, whereas the Frenchman wants €10 million plus bonuses. New contacts though, could take place tomorrow and United will try to unblock the negotiations.

Previously, it has been reported that Rabiot is also looking to play Champions League football and United’s absence makes him feel unconvinced about the club as his next destination this summer.
