Milan and Inter worried as stadium project stalls

Both Milan and Inter are said to be worried by the situation of the club’s stadium, with the project now stalling quickly.

Corriere della Sera claim that both clubs are reaching at the end of their patience and the possibility of the new stadium being built outside the city of Milan is gathering pace. There is still hope of reaching a conclusion in some way.

Relations between the two clubs and the municipality are at an all time low, but Milan and Inter have identified three potential areas for a new stadium and all three will be reachable by a subway nearby.

The three areas are Sesto San Giovanni, San Donato and Segrate and all three are linked by the train services in the city. Both Milan and Inter have decided to appoint a new consultant for the project and contacts have been made to take the process forward.
