Legendary former Milan boss Arrigo Sacchi has stated that Gianluigi Donnarumma made a mistake in choosing the ‘money’ at Paris Saint-Germain and he should have stayed at Milan.
Donnarumma has been linked with a move to Juventus in recent days, just after his error led to Real Madrid’s first goal against PSG. There was a talk of a scuffle involving Neymar and the Italian following the game.
Sacchi spoke to Corriere della Sera and stated: “He made a mistake in choosing money. I also told his father and mother last summer here in Milano.
“Stay at Milan not so much for gratitude, but because it was the ideal place to grow. Never leave the places where you feel good. But he remains a great champion, I have known him since he was little more than a child, in the youth national teams.”
It is stated that Juve have been keeping an eye on Donnarumma’s situation and something has broken in the relationship between PSG and the Italian.
