Milan make contact to sign Tottenham’s Japhet Tanganga on loan

Milan have made contact to potentially sign Tottenham defender Japhet Tanganga on a loan deal this summer.

Tanganga has been linked with a move to Milan in recent days, with the player reportedly having turned down a chance to join other English sides.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Milan are looking to pounce on to any potentially attractive market opportunities that can raise the depth of their current squad. One area that they’re looking to strengthen is the defence and Tanganga happens to be a target.

Ricky Massara and Paolo Maldini have made contact with the entourage of Tanganga to potentially seek a loan deal for the defender. They first want to seek an approval regarding a move from the player before potentially agreeing terms with his agents.

Milan believe that Tanganga will add more quality and depth to the squad, with the Rossoneri also offered a chance to sign Georginio Wijnaldum.
