Milan make five-year contract offer to Lille defender

Milan held a meeting with the entourage of Lille’s Sven Botman and they have put forward a contract for the Dutchman.

Alfredo Pedulla has reported that Botman’s agents were at Casa Milan todan and the meeting between the two parties lasted over an hour and a half. Milan expressed their willingness to close the deal for the player as early as they can.

They have put forward a five-year contract with the base wage of €2.5 million per season but bonuses that will break the €3 million per season wall.

Lille want €30 million to sell the player but Milan know that because of the positive relations between the clubs, they can drive the price down. But they know that first, they have to agree terms with the player and the entourage.

They want to move early – just like they did with Mike Maignan, when they were replacing Gianluigi Donnarumma. That is also because they know that Newcastle United are still interested.
