Milan were recently offered the chance to sign Benfica and ex-Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Weigl.
Daniele Longo has reported that Milan have held meetings and talks with several agents and intermediaries and they have also met with German agent Volker Struth.
Weigl was offered to the Rossoneri by Struth, with the midfielder looking to try a new experience in his career and playing in Italy is at the top of his wishlist. Milan haven’t moved for him but they have taken note of the situation, as they are only looking at players with the profile of Renato Sanches currently.
Sanches is seen as the ideal candidate to replace Franck Kessie, who seems on his way to Barcelona. On top of that, Weigl’s valuation currently stands at €40 million and that is deemed to be quite high by Milan.
