Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave an interesting interview with the French television channel Canal+ and once again the Swedish International has come out to surface some controversial remarks.
“Since I left France, everything has collapsed …” were the words of the former Paris Saint-Germain striker to Canal Plus as he quite straightforwardly expressed his thoughts about the condition of Football in France (via TMW)
Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is known for his brutally honest interviews said that French Football is not a topic of interest anymore and without him, the league has been barren and is unable to produce any spectacles, “Since I left France there is nothing more interesting to talk about. France needs me and I don’t need France. Even though they have Messi, Mbappé and Neymar, it’s not enough. Why? Why isn’t it there? because there is no more God.”
The 41-year-old has spent four years of his long illustrious career at Paris Saint-Germain in France. During his time there, he achieved a goal tally of 113 goals in 112 appearances for the Capital outfit.
