Napoli see Chelsea’s Armando Broja as a replacement for Victor Osimhen

Napoli star Victor Osimhen could leave the club in the wake of a mega offer this summer, with several clubs, including Arsenal and Manchester United, reportedly keeping tabs on the situation.

According to a report from Alfredo Pedulla, Armando Broja is considered a potential replacement for Victor Osimhen at Napoli.

On loan from Chelsea, the Albania international spent his 2021/22 season at Southampton, where he scored nine goals from 38 appearances in the Premier League.

Other than scoring goals, the overall gameplay of the forward has multiple suitors taking note of the youngster’s availability this summer.

The 20-year-old could seek a transfer should he feel that he would not get enough chances under Thomas Tuchel. The report understands that Napoli have been keeping tabs on the player for the last three-and-a-half months.

Broja also likes Napoli but is waiting for his situation at Chelsea to be defined. As for the Italian club, everything currently depends on whether they could make a reasonable profit from the sale of Kalidou Koulibaly, who has emerged as a transfer target for Juventus.

In that case, they could make a move for Broja, irrespective of what happens with Andrea Petagna’s future at the Naples-based side.
