Napoli plan to collect €80m from the sale of Fabián Ruiz and two others

Fabian Ruiz appears to be one of those players looking to part ways with Napoli this summer. The list also includes the names of Matteo Politano and Diego Demme.

According to Il Mattino, Napoli intend to collect up to €80 million from the summer departures of Fabián Ruiz, Matteo Politano, and Diego Demme.

The report understands that Ruiz has already informed the managers at the Naples-based club of his intention to leave Italy this summer. Despite getting a renewal offer from the Partenopei, the Spaniard has opted against penning that, suggesting that the player will be a free agent next summer.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has decided to offload the former Real Betis star to avoid the possibility of losing him for free next summer. Arsenal and several other clubs are interested in making a move for the Spain international, but no one has come forward with a concrete offer thus far.

As per the claim, Matteo Politano has also internally discussed a potential exit from Napoli. His contract at the club runs out in June 2024. But the winger feels that he needs a new challenge to revive his career and thus could leave his current station in the summer. Napoli are willing to pocket a transfer fee of €20 million from the sale of the Italy international.

Diego Demme has also requested a departure. The 30-year-old midfielder understandably fears that he will not be promoted to a first-team regular next season. And therefore, he is open to changing the clubs. Gennaro Gattuso’s Valencia interests the player.

The likes of Gerard Deulofeu, Antonín Barák, Federico Bernardeschi, and Gianluca Gaetano are considered the potential replacements for the wantaway stars.
