Atalanta striker Luis Muriel is attracting attention from Premier League side Newcastle United this summer.
Muriel has drawn links with a move to Juventus as well, with the Bianconeri still looking to sign a potential back-up striker this summer as their move for Alvaro Morata has failed.
Giovanni Albanese has reported that with Juve moving for Memphis Depay is a concrete possibility and while that is because of a favourable situation involving Barcelona, their moves for other players seem tough. Morata is going farther away from the club and Anthony Martial is close to staying in Erik ten Hag’s project at Manchester United and the Frenchman was of interest to Juve.
Muriel is attracting concrete attention from Newcastle and that is threatening the Bianconeri’s interest in the Colombian as well. His La Dea teammate Duvan Zapata had attracted interest from the Magpies in January and in the summer but that move couldn’t materialise for multiple different reasons.
