OFFICIAL | Juventus’ Angel di Maria set to miss two Champions League games

Juventus star Angel di Maria is set to miss Juventus’ Champions League games against Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica.

Juventus have put out a statement regarding the fitness of Di Maria, who trudged off injured during the Bianconeri’s 2-0 loss to Maccabi Haifa in the Champions League on Tuesday. The Argentine had arrived for some tests at J-Medical earlier today, with the club confirming that he will be out for about 20 days and that will be the time he will take for a full recovery.

He has picked up a low-grade lesion on the right thigh and he is expected to be out for three weeks now, with the player set to miss the remaining two Champions League games that can define Juve’s fate in Europe this season.

The ex-Real Madrid man has already picked up three injuries this season but has made an impact for the side, scoring once and assisting once in Serie A and he racked up three assists in the win over Maccabi in the reverse fixture.
