Atalanta have continued to produce talented youngsters every year. Giorgio Scalvini has even started gathering interest from several top clubs across Europe.
According to a report from La Repubblica, Juventus and Inter are huge admirers of the midfielder, born in 2003. Scalvini is liked in other regions as much as in Italy, with Premier League clubs such as Chelsea and Manchester City also keeping tabs on the Italy U21 international, who is valued at €20 million by La Dea.
Roma have also shown interest and included the midfielder in the list of potential transfer targets. Starting his career with Palazzolo, the Chiari-born stayed at Brescia for two years before moving to Atalanta, where he found the project of his dream.
From Atalanta Primavera, Scalvini took the leap at the age of 17, making his debut in Serie A for La Dea after coming on as a second-half substitute in 2021. In the 2022/23 season, the 18-year-old has made six appearances in the top flight of Italian football and has amassed one goal so far. He has a contract with the Bergamo club until June 2023.
