Paris Saint-Germain remain in talks for Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca

Paris Saint-Germain are still in talks with Sassuolo for their move for striker Gianluca Scamacca.

Luis Campos, the new PSG sporting director, made contact for Scamacca during a meeting with the Neroverdi about a week ago and it became clear that he wants to take the Italian to PSG.

Sky Itaila have reported that the contacts between the two clubs are still ongoing and Scamacca’s future could lie outside of Italy. As things stand, Sassuolo want a fee of €50 million to part ways with the talent, whereas PSG are not going beyond their offer of €35 million plus bonuses.

That being said, both clubs will continue talking to potentially find an agreement and they could yet reach a deal at some point. Scamacca is already a well-established Italy international and Arsenal had a bid rejected for him some days ago, as they fell short of Sassuolo’s valuation of the ex-PSV youngster.
