PSG join Barcelona in the race for Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski

Bayern Munich have been busy making notable changes to their squad in this summer transfer window. They have been heavily linked with a move for Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt as well.

According to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, Paris Saint-Germain have joined the race to sign Robert Lewandowski. The report understands that the Ligue 1 champions have recently made contacts with the German club and the entourage of the Polish striker.

As per the report, the French side also enquired about the player’s availability in the transfer market. It is believed that Bayern are trying their best to keep hold of Lewandowski this summer.

But the player wants a summer transfer, with Barcelona persistently pushing for a move. PSG are willing to present a much better offer to the player and the German club than that of Barcelona.

Bayern want to sign Matthijs de Ligt as well. The Juventus defender have already given his consent to a move to Germany, which has led Juventus to begin the hunt for his potential replacement.

Various reports claim that Juve are monitoring Gabriel Magalhães, Pau Torres, Nikola Milenković, and Gleison Bremer as the potential candidates to replace the Dutchman.
