Paris Saint-Germain are gradually closing in on making a summer move for Gianluca Scamacca, who seems interested in flying abroad in this transfer window.
According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, an “important” meeting will take place between PSG and the agent of Gianluca Scamacca on Friday.
Scamacca’s agent, Alessandro Lucci, could play a decisive role in bridging the gap between PSG and Sassuolo.
It is understood that Sassuolo have demanded a transfer fee of around €50 million for the striker, who signed a contract extension until June 2026 in the latter half of the 2021/22 campaign.
On the other hand, PSG are currently offering €40 million (including bonuses). The distance of valuation between the Neroverdi and the French club is significant yet bridgeable.
Friday’s meeting could ostensibly bring PSG closer to striking a deal with Sassuolo for the 23-year-old, who is also keen on a transfer to the Ligue 1 champions this summer.
