Serie A star Gianluca Scamacca willing to move abroad amidst Arsenal interest

Serie A and Sassuolo star Gianluca Scamacca will not reject a chance to move abroad this summer.

While reports in Italy recently have stated that Scamacca wants to stay in Italy, that doesn’t quite seem true now. The Athletic have claimed that the Italy international would be willing to move abroad, amidst interest from Arsenal.

It is stated that while there are perceptions that young Italian players do not like to move abroad, such feelings are ‘misplaced’ in the case of Scamacca, who moved to PSV at the age of 16. It is stated that Inter might be the only club in Serie A who may have the financial clout to sign him this summer.

He is open to playing outside Italy and Arsenal are interested. Due to the Gunners’ interest in Gabriel Jesus, the club’s move for Scamacca is at the back burner. Paris Saint-Germain are the frontrunners to sign him and English sides West Ham and Newcastle are also keeping tabs on the ex-Genoa striker.
