PSG’s Luis Campos holds talks with Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri

Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Luis Campos has held talks with Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri.

With Mauricio Pochettino said to be on his way away from Paris Saint-Germain, with the exit defined and only the official announcement currently missing.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported about PSG’s chase for a new manager, claiming that Campos met with Allegri at Hotel de Paris – a renowned five-star hotel in Monte Carlo. The meeting took place today – 14th of June.

It is stated that while PSG made contact with Zinedine Zidane, the Frenchman took his time to make a final decision as he is currently waiting to manage the French national team. Allegri still has a three-year deal with Juventus and the report does not provide much detail about what the talks could have been about.

The Italian has been previously linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain and was close to a move to Real Madrid before he joined the Old Lady.

Journalist Carlo Laudisa has also confirmed news about the meeting, stating that Allegri told Campos that he wants to stay at Juventus this summer.
