Roma boss Jose Mourinho is now set to be banned for two games following his antics during the game against Verona.
Il Messaggero have reported that Mourinho will be handed a two-game touchline ban and not just that, but Tiago Pinto has also been handed a punishment. The club’s sporting director has been handed a disqualification and he will not be available till the 8th of March.
Roma though know about these incoming actions and they are ready to appeal the ban on Mourinho and the disqualification imposed on Pinto.
This comes after Mourinho had mocked referee Luca Pairetto by using a telephone gesture and by saying to him that Juventus ‘sent him’. Roma were 2-0 down in the first half but managed to hit back by two goals and the game ended 2-2.
