Serie A side Roma have made contact for the potential signing of Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha.
The Giallorossi have previously shown a keen willingness to explore the market in the Premier League, having signed Tammy Abraham and Chris Smalling from big English sides. They also signed Arsenal’s Ainsley Maitland-Niles on a loan deal last January.
Marco Conterio has now reported about the Giallorossi, claiming that they are ‘strongly considering’ the name and profile of Zaha for the current summer transfer window.
There is a feeling that the ex-Manchester United man could leave Palace this summer and he is a profile that Jose Mourinho is already a fan of from his time in the Premier League. The report claims that the Portuguese rates Zaha’s versatility upfront.
Zaha has previously looked at ways to leave Palace but his attempts have not worked out to the London club’s big demands for a transfer fee.
