Roma like Denis Zakaria; Juventus unwilling to trade him for Nicolo Zaniolo

Roma and Juventus want to find a deal for Nicolo Zaniolo as soon as possible, but that doesn’t mean that the Bianconeri management is open to exchanging their star players for the arrival of the former Inter man.

According to Alfredo Pedulla, Jose Mourinho likes Denis Zakaria. The report understands that Roma came close to signing the player in the last January transfer window.

But Juventus entered the race at a decisive moment and secured the services of the Swiss international, depriving the Giallorossi of their coveted transfer target. Although Zakaria is now a Juventini, Roma continue to show interest in the midfielder.

There have been talks of Juventus being willing to include a player in a potential deal for Zaniolo. Adding a player could help the Old Lady reduce the overall valuation of the transfer.

It is understood that Roma’s ask for Zaniolo is close to €50 million. Besides Zakaria, Mourinho also likes Filippo Ranocchia. But Juventus will try to meet Roma’s demands with cash before considering offering them a talented youngster like Ranocchia.
