Bundesliga outfit Union Berlin are now set to seal the signing of Sampdoria midfielder Morten Thorsby.
Serie A side Atalanta were linked with a move for the midfielder at one point last summer but the move didn’t materialise due to some issues involving the two clubs. But it now seems as if Thorsby is close to the Samp exit door.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that the Norwegian star will move to the Bundesliga this summer and he will undergo a medical with Union soon. Samp have now reached an agreement with the Berlin outfit regarding the transfer and they will earn €3 million plus a bonus of €1 million from his sale.
The 26-year-old’s stock has certainly risen in Serie A over the last few seasons. In the 2021/22 season, he made 35 Serie A appearances for the side and racked up a tally of three goals as well.
