Serie A side Roma close in on move for Italy international Andrea Belotti

Roma are now closing in on their move to sign former Torino striker Andrea Belotti.

The Italian international has been heavily linked with a move to the Giallorossi but the move was being held up due to the club’s finances and they had to make financial room for the striker.

Sky Italia have reported that due to Felix Afena-Gyan’s move to Cremonese coming very close to completion, Belotti is also close to joining Roma.

Cremonese are completing a deal worth €6 million plus bonuses of €3 million for Felix, with Roma now finalising the contractual details of Belotti’s move. It could well be defined in the next few hours, with Belotti’s agents currently at Trigoria to finalise the transfer.

Felix’s move to Cremonese is about 24 hours from completion and it has played a key role in Belotti’s incoming move to Rome. He was previously linked with a move to Milan but the Rossoneri didn’t move for him.
