Some Juventus players unhappy about ritiro amidst Max Allegri uncertainty

Some Juventus players are unhappy about the fact that the side has gone into a ritiro following the defeat to Maccabi Haifa in the UEFA Champions League.

Juve face Torino in their next game in Serie A and to prepare for that, the side has gone into a ritiro or ‘retirement’ to make sure that they get everything right ahead of the derby. It was stated that Max Allegri had allowed some players to meet their families before they could come to Continassa for the ritiro.

Goal Italia’s Romeo Agresti has reported about the situation, claiming that not all players in the side are happy that the squad is going into ritiro mode. Exact names of the players aren’t mentioned, with a majority of the squad in favour of the ritiro.

It isn’t known as to what can bring the side out of ritiro but the game against Torino will be key to deciding that. Allegri is said to be thinking about using a 3-5-2 shape and the side will train with that shape during training in ritiro. While it is a slightly unpopular choice, but that is where Allegri’s mind is heading towards.
