Tottenham’s Japhet Tanganga keen to join Serie A champions Milan

Tottenham defender Japhet Tanganga is currently keen on joining Serie A champions Milan this summer.

Milan were interested in signing Sven Botman and were close to signing him at one point, but Newcastle United ended up signing him. Alessio Romagnoli has also left the club, having joined Lazio on a free transfer already.

Daniele Longo has reported about the club’s interest in Tanganga, claiming that the defender is waiting for a move to the Rossoneri and he would like the transfer. But the player is in no hurry to join the club and is playing the waiting game for the transfer to take place.

Tanganga is said to have previously rejected a move to Premier League side Bournemouth, who were interested in signing him. Spurs sporting director Fabio Paratici recently flew into Italy to talk to Milan about a potential deal, with the Rossoneri looking at an initial loan deal.
