The Golden Boy list for 2022 has been released and it features 40 of the best youngsters from top European clubs.
Tuttosport have released the list, which includes Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga and the Frenchman is said to be one of the favourites to win the accolade – according to reports in Spain previously.
Manchester United’s Anthony Elanga is also on the list and so is Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott. Fabio Carvalho is another Liverpool player who has been included. Anderlecht’s Italian starlet Sebastiano Esposito is also on the list, as he continues his development away from Inter on a loan deal.
Barcelona’s Ansu Fati also finds a mention and so does Gavi. Wilfried Gnonto, who sealed a move to Leeds United recently, has made it to the top 40 and so has Ryan Gravenberch, who joined Bayern Munich from Ajax in the summer.
Representatives from Italy or Serie A include Atalanta’s new signing Rasmur Hojlund and La Dea youngster Giorgio Scalvini, Juventus’ Fabio Miretti, Tottenham’s Destiny Udogie, Roma’s Nicola Zalewski and Lazio’s Matteo Cancellieri.
